Samuel Olotu

Sam’s over 30 years of broad-based experience in the oil industry includes Subsurface, Facilities, and Well Engineering, Production optimization and Safety, Health, Environment, and Security. He held various roles over his 20-year career at Shell, culminating in being the Chief Geophysicist in charge of Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. Sam has proven his ability to build and lead diverse teams to deliver in performance-driven environments in Nigeria, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia for Schlumberger and numerous oil majors. He holds an MBA from The Hague University and an M.Sc. Geology and Geophysics (1989) from the University of Ibadan.
