Olalekan (“Lekan”), is an international business man and founder of Cambridge Growth Partners. He is experienced in the Oil and Gas industry and investment markets, most recently with AllianceBernstein L.P. in New York where he spent six years as a research analyst and portfolio manager covering Energy and Materials worldwide. as well as international Energy Sector Head with direct responsibility for USD 1 billion Energy and Natural Resources portfolio with influence on up to USD 10 billion as Sector Head. Lekan graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and also holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management. He is also a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Samuel (Sam) Olotu

Chief Technical Officer

Sam’s over 30 years broad-based experience in the oil-industry includes Subsurface, Facilities, and Well Engineering, Production optimization and Safety, Health, Environment and Security. He held various roles over his 20-year career at Shell, culminating in being the Chief Geophysicist in charge of Nigeria and
Sub-Saharan Africa. Sam has proven his ability to build and lead diverse teams to deliver in performance-driven environments in Nigeria, Europe, the Middle-East and Asia for Schlumberger and numerous oil majors. He holds an MBA from The Hague University and an M.Sc. Geology and Geophysics (1989) from University of Ibadan.

Dr. Wura Abiola is the Managing Director of Management Transformation Ltd. (MT), a management consulting firm. In this capacity, she has served clients in Nigeria and throughout Africa in strategy, business development, leadership, governance, organizational development, risk management and public sector policy consulting since 1999. Her impact on client engagements is a result of a compelling blend of extensive knowledge of the African business environment and international strategic management consulting experience. She has worked extensively in the Energy (Oil & Gas and Power), Financial Services and Consumer sectors (Manufacturing and Fast-moving Consumer Goods). Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Organizational Behavior from Imperial College London. BSc. Accounting from McLaren School of Business, University of San Francisco.

Ed has a track record of leading and developing high calibre finance and commercial teams in challenging environments. UK Chartered Accountant, with over 30 years UK and international experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining CGP, Ed served in various leadership positions at Addax Petroleum Development Nigeria Limited, including General Manager Business Services, Director Finance and Administration and CFO for all Addax companies in Nigeria.

Iain Case

Chief Commercial Officer

Iain, a UK citizen, has over 30 years’ experience in oil and gas company acquisition and fuel market trading and development. His career has spanned working in the UK, Europe and Africa, oil, gas and power trading for Italian IOC ENI and later leading US IOC Chevron Corporation’s corporate business development and capital raise efforts globally, and he project managed Middle East energy technology pilot. Iain then spent time as Chevron Country Manager Liberia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Guyana and Suriname

He established and ran an Energy technology M&A group for Chevron that closed over US$14 billion in capital raise activity, including a West African GTL refinery project, before moving to Deloitte to provide Corporate Finance and M&A advisory services to Energy companies.

Greg Eckersley

Advisor to the Board

Gregory spent over 30 years in the global Asset Management industry, most of this at US global manager, Alliance Bernstein, as an analyst and Portfolio Manager. More recently he was Head of the active equity business of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority – ADIA, one of the world’s largest Sovereign Wealth Funds. In this time, he built asset management companies, managed portfolios and research teams across the world, and helped develop financial services investment talent, particularly in emerging economies. In his role at Eckco Limited, he is currently providing strategic support to, and sits on the Board of, a few private UK smaller companies that seek to grow their market and market share. He is an independent NED on two UK FTSE listed Investment Trusts and Chairs his College Investment Advisory Committee. He is a Rhodes Scholar.

Gloria Iroegbunam

Gloria Iroegbunam serves as the General Manager, Legal and Company Secretary for Lekoil Nigeria, bringing over a decade of legal expertise in the oil and gas sector. Starting her career in 2005 with Aelex, a top-tier law firm, she gained significant experience advising on a wide range of complex legal and regulatory issues, including alternative tax structures for financing upstream activities, joint ventures, compliance, oil and gas field agreements, and legal due diligence for business acquisitions. Gloria has built a strong reputation for her ability to provide strategic legal counsel on corporate management and the drafting and negotiation of critical commercial agreements. In addition to her work with Aelex, she has also lent her expertise to major international law firms, including Herbert Smith LLP’s Energy division, where she advised on high-stakes legal matters for global energy companies. Her role at Lekoil Nigeria encompasses overseeing legal compliance, corporate governance, and providing critical legal support to the company’s operations, positioning her as a key player in ensuring the company’s legal and operational integrity in the highly regulated oil and gas industry.

Kike Fajemirokun

General Manager, Corporate Services & ESG

Kike Fajemirokun has group-wide responsibility for all HR activities, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes, and leads the ESG and renewable energy business, where she is tasked with setting up and running the business. With over a decade at LEKOIL, she is responsible for the recruitment of 99% of the current team globally. Kike’s career began in the United Kingdom with Afren Plc. before moving on to First Hydrocarbon Nigeria (FHN) where she played a key role in team development.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree from Wake Forest University, US (2006); a certificate in Human Resource Management from Cornell University, US (2008); an MBA from Lancaster University Management School, UK (2010); and a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, UK (2013). She is also a Lifetime Member of the Institute of Directors, Nigeria.

Matthias Akhideo is a seasoned oil and gas professional with over 34 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams across the full upstream value chain – from subsurface planning and well engineering to drilling, completions, production, and decommissioning. Over a 31-year career at Shell, where he rose to Well Discipline and Engineering Manager, Matthias successfully delivered complex projects across multiple regions. His global experience with Shell, Agip KCO, PDO, and Norske Hydro highlights his strength in driving innovation, efficiency, and safety in challenging environments. Respected for his strategic vision and technical depth, Matthias is recognized for optimizing well performance, ensuring compliance, and advancing sustainable practices in well abandonment and decommissioning.

His broad experience spans corporate affairs, public policy, ESG communications, and crisis management, underpinned by a nuanced understanding of the evolving energy landscape, market dynamics, and technological transformation shaping the sector.

Olu Marinho is a project management executive with over 30 years of international experience delivering large-scale energy projects across LNG, offshore, and deepwater operations. He has led major ventures with Saipem, Eni, and Shell, combining strategic oversight with hands-on execution in both client and contractor roles. Skilled in project delivery, contract and risk management, and stakeholder engagement, Olu is known for aligning diverse teams to deliver complex projects safely, on time, and within budget. Career highlights include leading the USD 4 billion Nigeria LNG Train 7 EPC project, directing Eni’s first operated deepwater development in Angola, and representing Shell during construction of the Bonga FPSO in South Korea. Tech-savvy and forward-thinking, Olu leverages digital and AI-driven tools to improve performance and outcomes, earning a strong reputation for execution excellence and leadership across Africa’s energy landscape.

Kunle is a seasoned engineering and project management professional with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, known for his expertise in project delivery and engineering capability development. He built a distinguished career at Shell Nigeria (SPDC), where he retired as Manager, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) after holding key roles including Terminal/Offshore Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, and Project Manager. Renowned for executing complex projects with excellence in safety, efficiency, and innovation, Kunle joined FIRST E&P in 2015 and later became Senior Consultant at AVODAN Project & Engineering Services before moving to Lekoil. A proven leader and mentor, he is respected for driving engineering excellence and developing the next generation of technical talent.

Godwin Okeke

General Manager, Safety, Health, Environment, Security & Sustainable Community Development

Godwin is an accomplished HSE professional with over 31 years of experience in the energy sector, primarily in oil and gas. He currently serves as General Manager, Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) at LEKOIL, overseeing the company’s HSE strategy and compliance. His career includes senior roles at Shell, Kaztec Engineering, and Western Geophysical, with expertise spanning occupational safety, environmental sustainability, terminal operations, and electricity distribution. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Ife and has completed several executive programs in leadership and energy sector management. Godwin is also the Founder of More Solar Projects Ltd, a consultancy focused on SHES and renewable energy. He is a founding BOT member and two-term National President of ASSP Nigeria, and a member of ISPON, NAPE, ASIS, and a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration.

As General Manager, Supply Chain Management, she oversees supplier contracts, compliance, and end-to-end procurement operations, driving efficiency and value creation. Her career includes senior roles at Montego Upstream Services, IHS Towers, Heritage Energy, and Addax Petroleum, where she managed over $1.5 billion in spend, achieved 40% cost savings, and led green energy sourcing for Net Zero initiatives.. Armed with certifications from Harvard Business School, ISO 20400, and MCIPS, Eniola is recognized for her expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and sustainable procurement, consistently delivering measurable impact across the energy value chain.

Damilola Isafiade

Ms. Damilola Isafiade is a finance executive with over 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, bringing deep expertise in corporate finance, treasury, investor relations, and commercial strategy. She leads the company’s financial strategy, corporate planning, and investor engagement, playing a key role in strengthening financial performance and governance. Since joining Lekoil in 2014, Damilola has held senior roles that have driven the company’s growth and resilience. She began her career at Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company, where she built a strong foundation in governance, risk management, and finance operations. Damilola holds an MBA from the University of Lagos and a B.Sc. in Accounting from Covenant University, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). She is recognized for her strategic leadership, fiscal discipline, and commitment to financial excellence in a dynamic energy landscape.

Keji is a finance specialist with over 20 years’ experience across capital markets, credit and corporate finance, in diverse sectors including fintech, energy and consumer goods. She sits on the Boards of emerging companies in media and retail and is a Board advisor to early-stage ventures requiring capital strategy, credit structuring and long-term financial planning. She has spent the last 8 years in oil & gas finance, on transactions that have raised over US$1.5 billion in RBL, corporate loans, mezzanine and equity finance, to add to the over US$70 billion transaction advice proffered across the capital stack, including senior debt, mezzanine and equity funding.
